Cemetery Advisory Commission

Meetings are held at a local restaurant at noon the odd months of the year on the second Tuesday of each month.


The Cemetery Advisory Commission shall consist of seven (7) members.  These shall include two (2) at-large members with a strong interest in the preservation of the cemetery, one member in the mortuary services profession, two members representing historic preservation, one member with a cemetery maintenance background and a member representing either the local veteran's groups or the local gardening group.  The members shall be appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of the City Council, with staggered terms. Four (4) members shall be appointed for a two (2) year term which upon expiration will be converted to four (4) year terms for following appointments. Three (3) members shall be appointed for a four (4) year term. The City Manager, Community Development Director and Public Property Foreman shall be ex-officio members.
