Shop With Cop

Through our Shop With A Cop Program the Centralia Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #229 helps many disadvantaged area children.  This program allows the opportunity to purchase toys and clothing for a large number of less fortunate local kids each year during the Christmas Season.

The purpose of the event is to foster positive relationships between youth and the officers. Grade school age kids are selected each year during the holiday season to shop at one of the local area stores. Each child is given a small amount of money to spend.

Donations can be delivered to the Centralia Police Department or mailed to P.O. Box 1301 if you would like to contribute to this effort.

Dear Neighbor,

Christmas is once again right around the corner and without help many disadvantaged area children won't have much to celebrate. Through our Shop With A Cop program we hope to be able to purchase toys and clothing for a record number of needy local kids this year.

With most charities you never really know how far away from home your money will be spent. But for the last two decades you have chosen to support the Centralia Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #229, to help your own community and your own police department-not some village on the opposite side of the globe.

By giving to the local F.O.P. Lodge #229 you can be confident that your donations are used to address local needs year-round such as:

  • Gifts for Area Needy Children
  • Financial Help for the Poor, the Distressed, and the Elderly
  • Materials and Morale Support for Your Police
  • Public Safety and Public Education Campaigns
  • And many, many other pressing needs .......

In asking for your help, letters such as this are all that we use. If you received annoying telemarketer style calls or other messages from those claiming to represent us .... well They Don't! Letters like this are the real deal. So don't be fooled by others who claim to be raising money for us .... when they really aren't.

We know and appreciate that you have partnered with the Centralia F.O.P Lodge #229 in the past. Won't you continue to do so? Please use the enclosed self-addressed stamped envelope to sent $25, $50, or whatever you can give.

Thanks in advance for your continued help and support. Working together, police officers and citizens alike, we can and will build a better Centralia.

Sincerely,

Centralia Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #229
